Artist Talk with April Gornik
Tuesday, April 1, 2014, 7 - 9pm
April Gornik discusses her dramatic American landscapes including Virga, recently added to the museum’s collection. Gornik’s images of roiling seas, ominous skies, and mountains overlooking endless plains capture the power of nature and endeavor to create a suspended moment of calm. This is the second annual lecture in the James Dicke Contemporary Artist Lecture Series, honoring former commission chair, James F. Dicke II.
