Information Technology Office

Painting by Jimmy Lee Sudduth

The Information Technology Office (ITO) has two departments: New Media Initiatives (NMI) and Computer Support. NMI develops the museum's Web sites, interactive exhibits, audio and multimedia tours, and other products that advance SAAM's educational and scholarly mission. Computer Support provides application, networking, and desktop computer support for the museum. Both departments collaborate closely with other offices at SAAM and the Smithsonian's Office of the Chief Information Officer.

For further information about the Information Technology Office, contact us at saamit@si.edu.
