The New SAAM

The Smithsonian American Art Museum is located at 8th and F Streets, N.W. in the center of a revitalized downtown cultural district. The Museum's National Historic Landmark building opened in July 2006 after a major renovation with new public spaces and expanded galleries for displaying artworks.
